Obituary for Freda LeBlanc (Cormier)

Of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning February 3, 2021 in Meadow Green Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Waltham at the age of 95.

Born on July 14, 1925 in Dorchester Parish, New Brunswick, Canada; daughter of the late Athanas and Elizabeth (Doucette) Cormier. Freda resided in Waltham for most of her life.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Emery J. LeBlanc in 2003.

Freda is survived by her devoted & loving daughters Rita Callahan of Las Vegas, NV; Doris Compton and her husband the late John "Jack" Compton of Waltham; and Jeannette Stangler and her husband Ronald of New Prague, MN; her cherished grandchildren Michael, Lisa, Karen, Kevin, Michelle, Stacie, Paulette David and Becky; and her adoring great grandchildren Wayne, Katelyn, and Ashley; and her dear brother Leandre Cormier. In addition she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dear sister of the late Yvonne Cormier, Beatrice LeBlanc, Theresa Gautreau, Albert Cormier, Aurele Cormier, and Leo Cormier.

Out of genuine concern for those we love and care deeply about during this difficult time throughout the world and in our community; family gathered to celebrate Freda's life and remember the love she shared with those she touched in a private Funeral Service at Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels in Waltham followed by her burial at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
