Barry C. Bolio
Of West Newton, passed away peacefully early Monday morning January 6th, 2020 at Care One of Newton after a long illness at the age of 57.
Born on April 26, 1962; son of the late Robert Bolio and Joan (Bennett) Bolio, Barry was a lifelong resident of Newton.
Barry attended Newton North High School with the Class of 1980; and had been employed at Boston I in West Newton; Cliflex Bellows of South Boston and for over 25 years with Veterans Taxi in Waltham.
Barry is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Gayle J. (Scandale) Bolio; his devoted & loving daughters, Tammy Caruso, and her husband Tony of Pepperell; Mandy Keefe of Athol; and Shannon Bolio of Seekonk; his dear siblings Brian Bolio, Craig Bolio, Kerry Bolio, Scott Bolio, Shaun Bolio, and Bruce Bolio, Wendy Freeman, Robyn Brenton, Julie Rangel, and Maura Bolio Morse all of Florida & Massachusetts. Barry took great pride in being the grandfather of Caitlin, Lauren and Giuliana Caruso, Dustin and Michelle Keefe and Maddison Cardarelli. In addition he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
He was predeceased by his siblings Kevin and Kelly Bolio.
In his spare time he loved spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren and enjoyed listening to music. Barry was humorous, friendly and had a kind heart.
Funeral Services in celebration of Barry's Life will be held private for his family.
