Obituary for Jane Wolley (Fabian)

Jane ( Fabian ) Wolley 83,

Of Waltham died Tuesday at the Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton after a period of illness.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, raised in Wisconsin, having lived New York City, Upstate New York and Rhode Island prior to moving to Waltham ten years ago.

She had been employed for several years by the Jacobs Company as a Data Technician for the government.

She Graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Physics and Mathematics. She went on to pursue a Masters Degree in Art History and worked toward a PhD in Art History from Brown University.

In addition to being an active member of the First Lutheran Church, Jane was a member of the First Lutheran Church Women's Group, The Boston Amateur Piano Competition Group, passionate about music, especially classical works for piano, and string quartets and music concerts. She was best known by those whom knew her as a woman with a true love for the Arts.

Jane was preceeded in death by her Grandparents, her parents and an Aunt. Jane is survived by her life long friend Janet Hussong of Englewood, Ohio and Reverend Thomas Maehl, and her many members and friends at the First Lutheran Chirch.

A Celebration of her life will be scheduled for a later date at the First Lutheran Church, Weston & Eddy Streets, Waltham.
