David M. Rosen
Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening November 16th, 2019 at Newton - Wellesley Hospital at the age of 56.
Born on February 7, 1963 in Wantagh, New York; son of Lorraine (Sacks) Rosen and the late Arnold Rosen, Dave was raised in New York and resided in Framingham, Massachusetts for a brief period of time before moving to Waltham in 1992. For years he loved spending time with his family & friends at Old Orchard Beach in Maine.
A graduate of Boston University School of Law in 1988; Dave practiced law with Harmon Law Offices of Newton and for the past six years operated his own law practice. He was a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and numerous other professional affiliations. He served for many years as a Board member of the Middlesex Human Service Agency.
Dave had a passion for baseball and coached baseball for the Waltham Police Athletic League and Babe Ruth league for years. Born and raised in New York, Dave's loyal nature continued through the years for his hometown teams the New York Mets and New York Jets. In his spare time he had a special affection for animals especially his cats and dogs.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years Mary W. (Waddick) Rosen; his devoted & loving children, Ava N. Rosen and Jack H. Rosen both of Waltham; his dear mother Lorraine Rosen of Florida; his siblings Howard Rosen and his husband Michael of Princeton, NJ; and Linda Eisner and her husband Michael of Tarpon Springs, FL.; his - mother-in-law Mary Waddick; numerous cherished nieces & nephews and extended family the Sacks; Siegal's; Waddick's; Mulvey's; Martorilli's; Pavone's; Quagliozzi's.
He was predeceased by his father Arnold Rosen.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of David's life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Thursday afternoon Nov. 21st at 12:30 p.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial prior to the service on Thursday Nov. 21st from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Dave's memory to the Middlesex Human Service Agency, 50 Prospect St # 3A, Waltham, MA 02453.
