Obituary for Ralph J. Grande

Of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 22nd, 2019 in Mass General Hospital in Boston at the age of 66.

Born on January 6, 1953 in Boston; son of the late Anthony M. Grande and Martha (Oliverio) Grande, Ralph was raised in Belmont and resided in Randolph for over 30 years before moving to the Pine Hills in Plymouth almost 3 years ago.

A graduate of Belmont High School with the Class of 1971; Ralph was employed as an Engineer with the Raytheon Corporation for 40 years.

Ralph was a simple guy who enjoyed the simple things in life. He had a great sense of humor and had a great outlook on life. Nothing in this world was more important to Ralph than his family and he treasured each and every moment spent with them.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Janet L. MacDonald, his devoted & loving daughters Alicia Grande of Randolph and Virginia; Jillian Grande Raines of Fall River; and Taya Burke and her husband Dave of Dedham; his cherished grandchildren Isaiah Anthony Lee Raines; Amari Njie; and John James Burke; and his dear siblings Rosemary Mitchell of the Pine Hills in Plymouth; Anthony M. Grande Jr of Jupiter, FL; and Suzanne Grande Roback of Watertown. In addition he is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Ralph's Life from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, on Monday morning Oct. 28th at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Luke's Church, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 10:30 a.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Sunday Oct. 27th from 2 - 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Ralph's memory to St. Jude Chidlren's Research Hospital or the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of New England- https://www.lls.org/newengland.
