Of Belmont, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning September 25th, 2019 at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland at the age of 91.
Born on December 30, 1927 in Lynn; daughter of the late Saverio and Annie (Pepe) Lavorante, Jean was raised and educated in Lynn before moving to Belmont after her marriage. She raised her family and spent most of her life in Belmont.
A graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Jean was employed at Champion Lamp in Lynn as a young adult.
Jean had a strong faith in her God and was a active & devoted parishioner of Saint Luke's Parish Community in Belmont. She was an absolutely amazing cook and loved to spend time traveling with her family and friends on cruises, trips to Disney, Maine & Cape Cod.
Her family was everything and she loved every moment spent with them especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph A. DiPietro.
She is survived by her devoted & loving children Joanne Dussault and her husband Stephen of Billerica; Joseph A. DiPietro Jr. and his wife Nancy of Tyngsboro; Janice Celli and her husband Gerald of Billerica; and Judy Denzer and her husband Michael of Westminster; her cherished grandchildren Chris Dussault and his wife Lauren, Kerry Barrett and her husband Josh, Kaitlyn Denzer and her fiance Christopher Crutcher, and Laura Brisebois and her husband Jimmy; her adoring great grandchildren Tess and Ellie Dussault; and her dear siblings Rose DiPietro of Peabody; Daniel Lavorante of Florida; John Lavorante of Lynnfield; and the late Angelina Lezzelli, Antoinette DiPietro and Minnie Kachocki. In addition she is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in Celebration of Jean's Life on Tuesday morning Oct. 1st at 9:00 a.m. from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Luke's Church, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Watertown. Visiting hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday Sept. 30th from 4-8 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking.
