Obituary

Doris Marie "Dolly" (LaPorte) Cianci

Carol, Cheryl and Donna,

My heart goes out to you during this difficult time! Your mom was clearly an amazing woman who was resilient, loving, kind and compassionate all her life. I have fond memories of her smile and the way she welcomed us in her home during festive events. She always had-it-together! Her wonderful characteristics were amplified even more during the period in which she cared for your dad - she really was a super-woman!

May she be basking in the presence of our Lord's glory in peace, love and harmony with Uncle John! Though she will be missed, your gracious mom leaves a legacy of incredible memories and a family bond that is unequaled by much of today's standards.

I pray that God blesses and comforts your hearts now and always.

Love,
Cousin Peter & Family

To Carol, Cheryl, and Donna (and Family),

Not sure where to begin. I'm so very sorry for you during this time of grief. In times like this, I try to remember all the great holiday parties we used to have, the wiffle ball games in your backyard, watching old home movies together, your mother's great cooking, spending time with each other.... she really was an awesome aunt and special person. It was in the late 80s that I *really* grew close to her working at Dataguide. She got me the job, took me in, showed me the ropes and our bond over the next 2-3 years flourished forever. She holds such as special place in my heart, you just don't realize. She was always so kind and forgiving. She was patient but always encouraged me, and it had a great lifelong impact on me. I hope know how special she was and that knowing that helps you through these trying times. May she now be at peace with the Lord and together again with Uncle John. Rest in Peace Aunt Dolly. Love, Steve
