George Hamparian
Of Waltham passed away Thursday morning, August 1, 2019 at his home. He was 81.
Born and raised in Watertown to the late George and Arshalnus (Gaunjian) Hamparian, he moved to Waltham 45 years ago and has been a resident ever since.
Mr. Hamparian served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.
George worked as a Salesman for Boston Sand and Gravel for many years. He also taught classes at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He was a member of the Waltham Moose club and Shriners International.
He is survived by his loving son Gregory Hamparian and his wife Erin of Brockton, Dana Perrone and her husband Mark of Weymouth, Krista Mueller and her husband Brian of Michigan, and Judith Hamparian and family of Watertown, and his sister Cynthia Hamparian of Florida. He is also survived by his 6 cherished grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting hours Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, from 4 – 7:30 pm with a Memorial Service in celebration of George life to follow at 7:30 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
