Obituary for Linda Jean Valentino (Bruzzese)

Linda Jean (Bruzzese) Valentino

Of Belmont passed away, early Sunday morning, June 16, 2019 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, after a lengthy illness. She was 73.

Born and raised in Belmont to the late Dominic and Theresa (Yerardi) Bruzzese, she was a lifelong resident of Belmont and a self-proclaimed “Waverly Girl”. She was a graduate of the Rosary Academy in Watertown.

In her spare time, Linda enjoyed gardening, her dogs, vacationing in Mashpee, and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years Frank Valentino, her devoted children Frank Derek Valentino and his wife Carla (Cormier) of Newton and Waltham, Michael D. Valentino and his wife Josianne (DeVito) of Lynn, and Nicole T. Valentino of Belmont, and her brother Donald Bruzzese and his wife Joan of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 325 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, Thursday morning, from 9 am to 10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Linda’s life at St. Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington St., Belmont, at 11 am. Interment, Highland Meadow Cemetery in Belmont. Parking attendants will be on duty.
