Of Waltham, passed away peacefully Wednesday June 5th, 2019 at the Carney Hospital in Boston at the age of 70.

Born on December 1, 1948 in Reno, Nevada; daughter of the late Richard J. Morrissette and Marion (Lund) Morrissette. Judy came to Massachusetts as a young girl, she resided in Watertown for 2 years after her marriage and lived for several years in the Newton Highlands before moving to Waltham over 30 years ago.
Judy had been employed as a Nurses Aide at the Massachusetts Osteopathic Hospital for over 28 years. She worked for several years at the "Family Dollar" on Moody Street in Waltham and operated a Day Care from her home.
She devoted her life to others; always wanting to help everyone and was a motherlike figure to so many of the neighborhood kids. Judy was always taking someone shopping and looking after those in need.
Judy was a Co-Chair of the Tenants Associations at the Chesterbrook Apartments and the Charles A. Lawless 48 Pine Street Apartment building. She was also a Senior Regent for Chapter #37 of the Ladies of the Moose Auxiliary #1086 in Waltham.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years John A. "Jack" Carroll Sr., her devoted & loving son John A . Carroll Jr. of Lynn, and her dear siblings Barbara Streight, Diane Morrissette, Michael Walsh, and Joseph Morrissette and the late John, Robert "Bobby" and Betsy. In addition she is survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous close friends and extended family.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Judith’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday morning June 11th at 12:00 p.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Service from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
