Michael Gallant
Of Bedford formerly of Lowell, passed away suddenly on Friday May 31st, 2019 at the Lahey Clinic Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington at the age of 60.
Born on July 26, 1958 in Prince Edward Island, Canada; son of the late Louis Gallant and Myrna West, Michael was a resident of Lowell for many years.
Michael had been employed as an Auto Mechanic throughout his life. He always enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle a Harley Davidson.
He was a member of the Arlington Lodge of Elks and the American Legion. He was a longtime friend of Bill W. Michael was a huge sports fan; following all local sports teams.
His greatest devotion was to his family. Michael will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Marybeth Gallant of Rochester, New Hampshire, devoted children Michelle Anderson and her husband Matthew of Westminster, Jessica Gallant of Fitchburg and Michaela Gallant of Stoughton, his cherished grandchildren Stella, Serenity and Lonnell Jr., and his dear siblings Andrew Witham of Waterbury, CT, William Witham of Exeter, NH, Kenneth Witham of Freemont, NH, Deborah Bako of South Carolina, Paula Sheehan of Florida, Brenda West Wilson of Winchendon, and Allen Gallant. In addition he is survived by many nieces & nephews.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Michael’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Friday afternoon June 14th at 4:00 p.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons on Friday prior to the Funeral Service from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
