Of Malden, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 12th, 2020 at the Woburn Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 72.
Born on February 5, 1948 in Borricello, Italy; son of the late Gregorio Catrambone and Chiara (Iannone) Catrambone. Natale immigrated to the United States as a young man and resided in Randolph and Cambridge for many years before moving to Malden several years ago.
Natale was employed as a Welder in the construction industry throughout his life.
He had been involved with numerous civic and social organizations around the Boston area. In his spare time he enjoyed tending to his garden, doing yard work, going to the beach, but most especially he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Natale was a devoted husband to his beloved wife the late Anna (Muraca) Catrambone.
He is survived by his devoted & loving children Kiara Catrambone and her husband Brendan Kelly of Belmont; Maria-Teresa Malfa and her husband Joseph of Belmont; Scott Hookailo of Springfield; and Gregory Catrambone and his wife Elizabeth of Easton; his cherished grandchildren, Alexandra, Dominic, Lena, Joey, Nicole, Isabella and Scott Jr.; his dear sisters Maria Catrambone, Caterina Catrambone, and Gregorina "Rina" Catrambone all of Italy; and his devoted companion Doris Burns of Wakefield. In addition he is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended family the Muraca's.
He was predeceased by his siblings Antonio, Pasquale, and Theresa "Lina" Catrambone.
Relatives are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Natale’s Life from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Wednesday morning March 18th with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Luke's Church, 132 Lexington Street, Belmont at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday March 17th from 4 – 8 p.m. Parking attendants on duty.
