Obituary for Barbara Ann Jacome (Lynch)

Barbara Ann Jacome (Lynch), 89, of Waltham passed away peacefully on the morning of December 1st, 2022.

Born on Friday, May 19th, 1933 to the late Harry O. Lynch and Edna Lynch (Austin) in Danville, Virginia.

Growing up in a large family of 11 siblings, Barbara was a nurturer by nature. A protector, strong, resilient, and extremely outspoken; invariably speaking her mind honestly and forthright in any occasion. She deeply loved her siblings and taught her children the importance of family values.

As a mother of 5 daughters Barbara’s strong commitment to her family, work ethic and determination allowed her to tirelessly work for many years at Raytheon until her retirement. Generous to a fault, she always gave from her heart and once her grandchildren and great grandchildren arrived, they became the apples of her eyes. Earlier on, it gave her great joy to attend their youth hockey games and other events.

A lover of Bingo, playing cards, shopping, giving gifts and visits to the casino especially those in Las Vegas and vacationing in New Hampshire. She truly loved life and above all, spending time with her family.

We will miss you forever, the way you fashionably dressed to the nines, your love for all things Christmas and the way you loved us all.

Predeceased by her loving parents, grandson Luke Chiasson, and eight of her siblings.

Barbara leaves to cherish her loving memory, her 5 devoted daughters, and their families. Linda McMullin and husband Paul McMullin of Waltham, Karen Doucet and husband Donald Doucet of Woburn, Pamela Chiasson and husband Ernie Chiasson of Irving, Texas, Barbara Johnston of Littleton, MA. and Joyce Garland and husband Mark Garland of Nashua, New Hampshire. 13 beloved grandchildren; James McMullin, Tim McMullin, Chris Doucet, Andrew Doucet, Alexandra Tisdell, Keith Doucet, Jake Chiasson, Alana Johnston, Tommy Johnston, Julia Johnston, Lily Garland, Cameron Garland. 12 adored great grandchildren; Connolly McMullin, Cristian McMullin, Aria Doucet, Declan Doucet, Callen Doucet, Ava Doucet, Pierce Doucet, Charlie Doucet, Jack Tisdell, J.J.
