Condolence: I am very sorry to hear about Dr Garvin’s passing. I have fond memories of caring for his St E’s patients. He was always very compassionate to not only his patients, but also to the staff.

Condolence: Dear Ann, My deepest sympathy to you and your family on the death of Bill. I know he has been ill for a long time, but it is never easy to lose a husband and a father. My strongest memories of Bill are from our young days at St. E's when I arrived as a third and then fourth year student on Medicine with Bill as my resident. His energy and enthusiasm combined with his great love for the hospital certainly played a major role in my training there and then spending my entire professional career associated with good friends and associates at the hospital. May your family and friends and good memories help you through this difficult time. I am going to be out of state for a family event and will not be able to pay my respects in person. Ralph Porter
