Of Lincoln, passed away peacefully Sunday October 28th, 2018 in the Newton - Wellesley Hospital at the age of 67.

Born on September 28, 1951 in Boston; beloved daughter of the late Muriel Huntley, Marilyn was raised in South Boston. She lived in Southie for many years before moving to Waltham for 14 years and to Lincoln 2 years ago.

Marilyn worked as a Secretary in Accounting & Finance at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.

Family was the most important aspect of her life especially her grandchildren. In her spare time she loved doing puzzles.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold G. Thurston Jr., her loving son Gerard Thurston and her dear sister Jean Seitz.

Marilyn is survived by her loving & devoted children Kerri T. Lima and her husband Scott of Waltham, Daniel Thurston and his wife Erin of Dorchester, and Scott Thurston of Dorchester, her cherished grandchildren Taylor, Olivia, Scotty Jr., Caitlyn, Collin and Julio, her adoring great granddaughter Adalyn, her dear sisters Dorothy Kochanowski and her husband Eddie of Quincy and Jamie Dandrea and her husband Dale of Ohio, and her brother-in-law David Seitz. In addition she is survived by many nieces & nephews.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours in celebration of Marilyn's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday from 1 - 5 p.m.
