Obituary for Corrine Thackeray

Corrine (Tomlin) Thackeray

Of Laconia, NH, formerly of Waltham passed away Tuesday, October 9, in Lebanon, NH. She was 72.

Born and raised in Waltham to the late James and Mildred (Dunsmoor) Tomlin, from Waltham, Corrine move to Virginia for 12 years and to Laconia 4 years ago.

Ms. Thackeray worked as a sauterer at the Waltham Watch Factory for many years and also in the Housekeeping department of a Virginia Nursing Home.

In her spare time, Ms. Thackeray enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was the beloved grandmother of the late Karen Kimball and great grandmother of the late Liam Meadows.

She is survived by her loving children Dawn Thackeray and her fiancé Ken Bullis of Franklin, NH, and John Thackeray and his girlfriend Amanda Mitchell of Salem, her sisters Arlene Chamberlain and Marilyn Purcell and her husband Victor of all of Virginia, and her cherished grand children Kristen Elliott of NH, Erica Thackeray of Franklin, NH, Alyssa O’Donnell of Revere, Steven Thackeray of Gloucester, and Kevin Thackeray Lapine of Merrimack. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Logan, Austin, and Tommy and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 5- 8 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
