Obituary for Ralph M. Maffiola

Ralph Maffiola

Of Waltham, passed away, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 59.

Born and raised in Newton to the late Arthur and Ruth (Roberts) Maffiola, he was a graduate of Newton North High School. Ralph has been a resident of Waltham for the past 36 years.

Mr. Maffiola worked in the Maintenance Department of the Charles Bank Estates in Waltham. He really loved his time there. As a younger man, Ralph worked at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington for several years.

In his spare time, Ralph enjoyed camping, golfing, and socializing with his friends. On any given evening he could be found in his yard hosting many of his family members and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Kimberly (Mace) Maffiola, his sister Pauline Collett and her husband Paul of Waltham, his Mother-in-law Ann Mace of FL, and his brothers and sisters-in-law Donna Mace of Clinton, Stephen Mace and his wife Judy of FL, Karen Collins and her husband James of FL, Douglas Mace and his wife Sandra of CT, Jeffrey Mace and his wife Jane of Framingham, and Gregory Mace of Marlborough, and Ronald Mace and his wife Susan of Hudson. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was the brother of the late Arthur “Peter” Maffiola

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Ralph’s life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11 am. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
