Obituary for Mary L. Juliano (Coraccio)

Mary L. Juliano (Coraccio)
Mary (Coraccio) Juliano

Of South Dennis formerly of Waltham, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation Center in Westborough. She was 98.

Born in Italy to the late Salvatore and Antonia (Rubino) Coraccio, she was one of 8 children. She came to Utica, NY on the Giusseppe Verdi with her mother when she was just 3 years old. She spent a few years in NY before moving to Waltham, where she spent most of her life. She has been a resident of South Dennis for the past 30 years.

Mary worked for Raytheon Co. in Waltham during World War II, and also worked for Clevite Industries, Alpha Industries and Unitrode in the Assembly department.

In her spare time Mary enjoyed sewing, crocheting, needlepoint, and quilting. She loved to cook and made a great Lasagna. She also Jarred her own sauce. One thing she didn’t like was the beach, you would never find her there. She also loved to read, especially the Bible, watch old movies, and listen to Elvis Presley.

She was the loving wife of over 50 years to Jennarino Juliano who passed away over 20 years ago, and devoted mother of the late Linda A. Juliano.

She is survived by her beloved daughters Dolores A. Priest of Marlborough, and Jean M. Juliano of Hudson, her brother Dominic Coraccio of New Hampshire, her cherished grandchildren, Andrea, David, and Nicholas Priest, and Meredith Sylvia. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Melina and Natalia, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend A Funeral Service in celebration of Mary’s life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Saturday at 9 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Friday, from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
