Regina (Pennacchio) Perrone

Of Belmont, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, evening December 12, 2018 at her home. She would have been 95 on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.

Born and passed in the same home she lived in, Regina was truly a lifelong resident of Belmont to the late Gennaro and Anna (Tuccelli) Pennacchia.

Regina was a graduate of Belmont High School and attended secretarial school. As a young woman, she worked as an executive secretary and later for many years as a Teacher’s Aide for the Belmont School Department.

As a longtime member and past president of the Maria Montessori Lodge in Belmont, Regina organized many events and fundraisers. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, following the Red Sox, playing BINGO, scratch tickets with her grandchildren and most of all spending time with her family.

She was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Francesco S. Perrone, and sister of the late Mark Pennacchio and Daniel Pennacchia.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children Raymond and his companion Patti-Ann of Belmont, Gennaro and his wife Kathleen of Melrose and Frank and his wife Coreen of Virginia. Her cherished grandchildren Frank, Breanna, Angelica and husband Shawn, Gennaro, Phillip, Francesco, Dana and wife Jesse, Anthony, Marco, Shawn and fiancé Shannon, Mitchell and dear friend Cheryl Holmes.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services at the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, 325 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, on Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Regina's Life at Saint Luke's Church, 132 Lexington St, Belmont at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Watertown. Visiting Hours on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
