Condolences

Condolence From: Amy Petrucelli
Condolence: To my cousins, Mary, Kathy, Lanie, Renie and Edward, on behalf of the Petrucelli family, the late Auntie Mimi, Frankie, Billy, Betsy, and surviving Amy, very sorry for your loss. To Cheryl and his other children I am deeply sorry as well. I was very young and have a few memories of your father. The loss of a parent is hard and especially hard for a spouse. Had I been informed of your loss I would have paid my respects and on behalf of my late mother and siblings. My deepest sympathies for all of you, any loss is tragic though he is no longer with you physically remember he will live on in your hearts and memories. Amy Petrucelli

Condolence: Cheryl and family; I'm a day late and a dollar short as usual as I just found out about Ed's passing. Way to late for the service which I would have attended. Ed was unique and most people don't realize he had a great heart as he helped me when I was starting out in the business 40 years ago. I never forgot that and had many good times with Ed over the years. That Guy was the life of an Auction and I actually had to walk outside laughing more than once so as not to attract anymore attention from the audience . You've always been kind and sweet to everyone I know as well Cheryl and you know you were the love of Ed's life. He was always bragging about you to anyone within earshot. Harvey is right about Ed giving Guy's a knick name and once you had it it stuck ! I for some reason was Bowling Ball.Which I didn't mind cause some guy's were tagged with a lot worse. Ive had to deal with my own health issues the past few years and haven't seen you guy's in awhile but some folks you just do not forget and the Getmans are unforgettable. You were a great Guy Ed and I'll miss you.;Patrick

Condolence: I just found out about Eddie's passing. He was a really good friend of mine in the clock business several decades ago. We have not been in touch for a long time and for that I am not just very sad, but angry with myself. Great people are hard to find and he was one of them. He had a fantastic sense of humor, he was very clever and was basically a really good person, and they're hard to find right now. There's no one else even remotely like Eddie and I truly miss him.

Condolence: I remember Ed's bringing baby Shad with Cheryl to the shop, I remember the fabulous clock cases he made in his basement, I remember the clock he made from a door Leo found in VT (wow!), I remember he called me "Half Slice"..(I am a twin .. he had a nickname for everybody) I'll guess I remember most his big smile and resounding laugh... My sympathies to his wonderfuil wife Cheryl and his family on this sad occasion.
