Antonia Luna

Of Waltham passed away peacefully, Monday November 12, 2018 at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln. She was 91.

Born and raised in Coamo, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Torres and Paulina Rivera-Colon, she spent some time in Ohio before settling in Waltham in 1964.

In her spare time, Antonia enjoyed gardening, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of the Third Order of Mary in Waltham.

She was the beloved wife of the late German Luna, step-mother of the late Wilberto Luna, and the last survivor of 7 siblings

She is survived by her loving children Lydia Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, Edna Santini of Puerto Rico, Evelyn Luna of Waltham, Judy Cataldo and her husband Bruce of Derry, NH, Annabelle Deyoe of Framingham, Antonio Luna and his wife Debra of Framingham, Felix German Luna of Roxbury, Jorge Luna of Rhode Island, and Rey Luna of Somerville. She was also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Walter Mutter for all of the special care he gave to Antonia.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass in celebration of Antonia’s life at the Mary Catherine Chapels of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Thursday at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10 am to 12 noon. Parking attendants will be on duty.
