Of Medford, passed away peacefully Monday evening May 28th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family in his home after a long illness at the age of 65.

Born on November 16, 1952 in Somerville; son of the late Gordon and Ann (Darcangelo) Greeley , Buzzy was raised in Somerville and has been a resident of Medford since 1995.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Julia Vellante-Meehan, his devoted & loving sons Paul Meehan of Medford and Michael Meehan of Medford, his siblings Deborah Souza of Plymouth, Lorraine Mueller of Billerica and Richard Meehan of Wareham. In addition he is survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

Brother of the late Gordon Meehan and Diane Emus.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Gathering in celebration of Wayne's Life in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice
