Obituary for Robert Louis Cusano

Robert Louis Cusano

Of Waltham, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, early Wednesday morning, May 16, 2018 in is home. He was 90.

Born and raised in Waltham to the late Louis and Frances (Allia) Cusano, he was a lifelong resident of Waltham.

Robert served honorably in the United States Army form March of 1946 to September of 1947.

Robert worked as a plasterer, along with his brother, he owned and operated Cusano Bros. For a period of time he also was a life insurance salesman for Mutual of Omaha.

In his spare time, Robert enjoyed cooking for his family, dancing with his wife, playing cards, and taking trips to Foxwoods to play Craps. He was very involved with the V.F.W. Sullivan Post and the Lexington Elks Club.

He is survived by his loving wife Rosalind (Moran) Cusano, his devoted daughter Ellen L. Blackman and her husband Michael of Saugus, his twin sons Louis adn David Cusano both of Waltham, his twin brother Richard Cusano of Tewksbury, and his bother Donald Cusano of Waltham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Tuesday at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Robert's life at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Rd., Waltham, at 10 a.m.. Interment will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Concord. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
