Of West Yarmouth, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning April 21st, 2018 in his residence at the age of 52.

Born on April 12, 1966 in Waltham; beloved son of Louis J. Butler and the late Mary ( Burke) Butler, Mike was raised in Waltham and had lived for mot of his life in Dover, New Hampshire and on Cape Cod for the past 10 years.

Mike had been a self-employed contractor throughout his life.

He had a love for life and lived it to the fullest. Mike had a smile that could light up a room.

Michael is survived by his beloved father Louis J. Butler of Marlboro, his loving children Kyle Michael Butler, Gina Apostolopoulos and Peter Apostolopoulos all of Fairhaven, his dear siblings Skippy Butler of MA, Cheryl Robbins of ME., Louis Butler of Weymouth, Richard Butler of Marlboro, Jason and Jesse Murray both of NH, and the late Christine M. Mullen, his longtime devoted companion Kaja Masdalen and close friends Matt McCarthy and Johnny Bassett. In addition he is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of Michael's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday afternoon April 28th at 3:30 p.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons on Saturday from 2 - 4 p.m.
