Obituary for Alfred H. "Fred" Emberley Jr.

Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Friday October 13th, 2017 in his home at the age of 61.

Born on April 7, 1956 in Newton; son of the late Alfred H. Emberley Sr. and Theresa (Doyle) Emberley, Fred was raised in Watertown until the age of 9 and moved to Waltham in 1965.

A graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 1974, Fred was employed as a Warehouse Manager throughout his life. He began at Hewlett Packard and most recently the Exel Corporation.

Fred had a passion for boating and enjoyed playing billiards with his friends. He loved for caring for his late dog "Maggie.

He is survived by his devoted & loving siblings Karen McKeon and her husband Michael of Waltham and John C. "Jack" Emberley of Waltham, his cherished niece Shannon T. Ewer and her husband Joseph of Hingham and his adoring great nephews Harper and Leo. In addition he is survived by numerous close friends.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Thursday Oct. 19th from 4 - 7 p.m. and gather again on Friday morning Oct. 20th at 9:00 a.m. before leaving in procession to Knollwood Memorial Park in CANTON.
