Of Waltham, passed away peacefully Monday evening May 22nd, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Oakridge, Pennsylvania where he was raised moving here to Waltham where he met and married the love of his life Carolyn J.( Krinopol ) Kemp more than 59 years ago. He was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church of Waltam.
Howard had worked for many years as a machinist for J.L. Thompson Company in Waltham after closing he became employed with the Poloroid Corporation in Waltham from where he retired.
Most important in Howard's life was his family, he enjoyed any activity that included all of the family gathering together, and always felt it was special when they gathered at the family residence at The Bluff's in Ossipee, New Hampshire, where he also enjoyed boating, riding a snowmobile and his crafty woodworking.
He was the son of the late John Kemp Jr., & Marie Grace ( Hepler ) Kemp, brother of the late Patricia Miller, Vernon Kemp & Kenneth Kemp, and grandfather of the late David Wade.
In addition to his beloved wife Carolyn J. ( Krinopol ) Kemp, he is survived by his loving & devoted children, Karyn A. Wade & her husband Douglas of Stoughton, Keith H. Kemp and his wife Julie of Sudbury, Kathy M. Davias and her husband Michael of Stamford, CT., Kristine C. Austin and her husband Scott of Framingham, his dear sister Nancy Larson and her husband Bud of PA., his cherished grandchildren John, Steven, Michael, Kyle, Ryan & Sean, and adoring great grandchildren Abigal & Cheyanne. In addition he leaves many Nieces & Nephews.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to gather and share memories in a Celebration of Howard's Life at the Chateau Restaurant, 195 School Street, WALTHAM on Sunday May 28th at 3:00 p.m.
