Gelina "Jill" M. (Arseneau) Beck
Of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening April 22nd, 2023 in the Maristhill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Waltham at the age of 83.
Jill was born March 18, 1940 in St. Paul, New Brunswick, Canada; daughter of the late Albert Arseneau and Hélène (Maillet) Arseneau.
She worked at Unitrode in Watertown and Shaws in Waltham for many years.
Jill was married to her beloved husband George H Beck Sr. for 49 years until his death in 2015.
She is survived by her devoted & loving Step-son George H Beck Jr. of Waltham and Step-Daughter-in-law Linda Beck of Waltham; Grandson Adam Beck with wife Crystal Beck of Waltham, Grandson Matthew Beck and wife Patricia Beck of Waltham along with two great granddaughters Madison and Cailyn Beck. She was the youngest of 4 dear siblings, the late Jeannine Arseneau and her husband the late Raymond Leger from Notre Dame N.B., Louis Arsenault from Boundary Creek N.B., and Dorina Arseneau and husband Richard Lauzon from Eustache, Montreal. In addition she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Those who wish to pay their respects to Jill and her family can do so in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Tuesday, May 2nd from 10am until 11am. Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Jill's life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others at a Funeral Service in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons on Tuesday morning May 2nd at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans National Cemetery in Bourne on Tuesday afternoon at 1:45 pm.
