Of Beijing, China, passed away unexpectedly at her residence at Brandeis University, Monday, February 29, 2016. She was 20.
Born and raised in Beijing China to her loving parents Zhijin Xue and XiaoYun Jiang, she came to Waltham in 2014 to study at Brandeis University.
ZImeng had a passion for fencing and was a member of the Brandeis Fencing team. She won many titles in China and several here in the United States. She was also very artistic and enjoyed drawing, painting and writing. She even published a book in China about her junior high school life. She will be remembered as a very sweet, kind, and polite young woman and will be missed dearly by her many family members and friends.
Besides her parents she is survived by her loving grandparents Yanzhen Jiang, Jun Chang and Peiwen Li of Beijing, China, and her brother Lun Zhang as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend A Funeral Service in celebration of Zimeng's life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
