Of Watertown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday evening September 12, 2018, at her home. She was 82.
Born in Cambridge and raised in Belmont to the late James and Marie (Cunningham) Henry, she has been a resident of Watertown for over 40 years. She also spent some time in Ipswich.
Margaret was a graduate of Mount Trinity Academy in Watertown and Fisher College in Boston.
Peggy worked as a bookkeeper for Haley and Aldrich Co. in Cambridge and M.J. Flaherty Co. in Newton for over 40 years.
In her spare time, she loved to read and follow the Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. She also volunteered for Saint Patrick’s Church Food Pantry.
She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Little and sister of the late Marcia Anderson and Michele “Shelly” Dragone.
Margaret is survived by her loving sister Maureen Henry of Natick, and her devoted brother James Henry and his wife Nancy of Waltham, dear brother-in-law's Richard Dragone and Carl Anderson, and her cherished nieces & nephews Jim Henry & wife Sharon of Downingtown PA.; sons Jason, Josh, Shawn & daughter Christina, Suzanne Berry & husband Tom of Milton, MA; daughters Ardara, Maeve, and son Shane, Tom Henry & wife Karen of Windham, NH; daughters Samantha, Ashley & son Matt, the late Fred Henry of Waltham, MA, Maria Dunton & husband Jeffrey of Natick, MA; sons Aiden & Caleb, Richard Dragone & wife Michelle of Waltham, MA; daughter Kathy, Bob Dragone & wife Patricia of Waltham, MA; daughter Lauren & son Robert, Michael Dragone & Isa of Marlborough, MA; daughter Nicole & son James, Joe Dragone & wife Elizabeth of Waltham, Ma; daughter Mia, and sons Joseph (JoeJoe) & Ryan, Great Niece Kathy Burnley & husband Ron of Austin, TX; daughter Emme, Carl Anderson & wife Karen of Arlington; son Matt & daughter Katherine, Chris Anderson & wife Wendy of Natick; son CJ, James Anderson & wife Beau of Belmont, MA; son Chase and daughter Brynn.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 325 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, Monday, September 17, 2018 at 8:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Margaret’s life at St. Luke’s Church, 147 Lexington St. Belmont at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Watertown. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
