Carolanne Denson

Of Plainville, formerly of Waltham, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 55.

Anne, as she was known to those closest to her, was the beloved wife of James L. Denson, married for 34 years.
In addition to James, Anne is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth A.M. Denson, Monica P. Denson, Jonathan L. Denson, Andrew G. Denson, Matthew J. Denson and Julian S. Denson, all of Plainville; her parents Sylvio Deveau and Gisele Deveau of Waltham; Her brother Guy Deveau and his wife Jinny of Bellingham; and her brother William Deveau and his wife Alisa of Worcester; and so many others who loved her.

Anne was a Registered Nurse who received her degree from Mass Bay Community College in Wellesley. She was known to be a very compassionate care giver and strong patient advocate. She had worked in the Waltham area for many years at places such as Hopkins Nursing Home, Larchwood Lodge Nursing Home and Meadow Green Rehabilitation and Nursing Center among others. After moving to Plainville in 1999, Anne worked in the Attleboro Area at places such as Madonna Manor in North Attleboro and Beta Community Partnerships in Attleboro among others.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 9 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Anne’s life at St. Mary’s Church, 145 School St., Waltham at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
