Obituary for Victor Caruso

Victor Caruso

He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth in 2008. He is survived by his siblings Genovese, Richard and Elaine, and his 5 children, David, Susan, Sharon, Jane and Kathleen. He was also the proud grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Originally from Waltham MA, Victor raised his family in Maynard and become a longtime resident of Cape Cod where he has lived for the past 25 years. A lifelong master electrician, Victor found his pride and enjoyment in gathering his family and friends around the dining room table for the many day-long social gatherings he cherished. Well known around Eastham area as an avid fisherman and seafood lover, he always found time to take the kids out to see the ocean, teach them how to fish, and how to make a great pasta sauce. An excellent cribbage player, he would take on all comers and share everything he knew about the game. Victor also took up the art of making writing instruments in his retirement and went on to produce dozens of beautiful pens in all sorts of exotic woods and nearly everyone he knew now has their own hand made keepsake that Victor created. His caring, helping personality left a lasting impression on everyone and he will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass in celebration of Victor's life at Sacred Heart Church, 311 River St., Waltham, Tuesday, August, 21, 2018 at 10 a.m.
