Julie A. Bourgeois
Passed away peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital Monday evening July 23, 2018. She was 62. She was surrounded by her caring family at her passing.
Born and raised in Waltham to the late James and Anne Bourgeois (Roche).
Julie had a passion for decorating and brightened every room with just the right flower or touch of style. She was a long-time employee at Grover Cronin’s where she created window designs worthy of Sak’s 5th Avenue. She loved the holidays and celebrated by decorating everything she could. Families made a tradition of seeing her holiday window displays. She celebrated every Holiday with passion. She would light up the sky with her Christmas light displays. Julie was also the person always showed up when help was needed. Her passion for caring revealed itself in when no one was looking as she served the down trodden and elderly. Julie made a difference in many people’s lives and she will be dearly missed.
Julie was the loving sister of James Bourgeois and his wife Cathy of Woburn, Joanne O’Beirne and her husband Sean of Hopkinton, Ted Bourgeois and is wife Laura of Middletown, RI, Annie Perkins and her husband Bill of Andover. She also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Relative and friends are respectfully invited to share their respects at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Friday, July 27 from 4 – 6pm. A memorial service will follow immediately at 6pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
