Winifred I Isaacson, 99 of Waltham , passed away Thursday, July, 12, 2018 peacefully at MaristHill Nursing Home where she had resided for the last few years.
She was born on Nov 21, 1918 in Waltham daughter of the late William Alexis and Alice (Borgeson) Isaacson whom both were born in Sweden. She was a resident of Waltham her entire life.
Ms. Isaacson graduated from Waltham High School and worked at the Waltham Watch Factory. Later she became an executive administrator for Raytheon Corporation in Waltham for 32 years before retiring in 1990 to enjoy more of life.
She enjoyed travelling to different places including Cape Cod, Maine and New Hampshire. She also enjoyed getting together with family and friends.
Winifred was a longtime and active member of the former Covenant Congregational church in Waltham and was recently active in the Trinity Covenant Church in Lexington, Ma.
Winifred is survived by a loving extended family including many cousins in Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, Florida and Texas.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday July 24th from 10:00-11:00 am in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home, 773 Moody Street, Waltham, Ma 02453 immediately followed by a graveside funeral service in celebration of Winifred's life at the Isaacson family lot in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham Ma.
