Obituary for Carolyn Mulloy

Of Belmont, passed away peacefully June 1, 2018 in the Meadow Green Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Waltham at the age of 87.

Born on November 26, 1930 in Cambridge; daughter of the late Cosmo and Frances Tobia. Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Belmont.

Carolyn attended Belmont Schools and Chamberlain College. She spent most of her career working for House of Bianchi Bridal of Boston.

She is survived by her loving step-children Dr. Elizabeth (Betsy) A. Bowman and her husband Jay of Sarasota, FL., Richard S. Mulloy Jr. and his wife Doreen of Malden, Mark J. Mulloy and his companion Gail Pasquale of Billerica, and John D. Mulloy of Miami, FL., and sister-in-law Mary Fran Mulloy, her cherished grandchildren Jenn, Coleman, Kerry, Cathryn and Megan, and great grandchildren Noelle Connolly, Sullivan Mulloy Connolly, Jaxson DiLisio, Brennan DiLisio and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was the widow of the late Richard S. Mulloy grandmother of the late Richard S. Mulloy III. She was sister-in-law of the late Henry “Hank” Mulloy, Irene Mulloy, (Ret.) Commander Charles “Chuck” Mulloy United States Navy, Anne Mulloy (Ret) Admiral Paul Mulloy,United States Navy, Kathleen Lohnes, and Paul Lohnes.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Carolyn's Life from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Tuesday morning at 8:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington St, Belmont at 9:00 a.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking attendants.
