Obituary for Lois Mae Cincotta (Jamer)

Lois Mae (Jamer) Cincotta

Of Waltham, passed away Saturday morning at the Maristhill Nursing Home in Waltham. She was 89.

Born and raised in Waltham to the late Herman and Beatrice (Bird) Jamer, she was a lifelong resident of Waltham.

In her spare time Lois enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, going for car rides in the country, getting together on "Sister Night", but most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered by family and friends as a kind and loving woman who always put others first.

She was the loving wife of the late Stephen Cincotta, devoted mother of the late Michael Cincotta, and sister of the late Shirley Coxall, Phyllis Martineau, Moses Jamer, Herman Jamer, Beatrice Christy, Inez MacElrath, and Alvan Jamer.

Lois is survived by her loving children Linda L. Cincotta of Lexington, Stephen "Gary" CIncotta and his wife Susan (Davis) of North Chelmsford, and their "little sister" Laura Arsenault of Stow,her daughter-in-law Kathy Mullins Cincotta of Maine, her sister Lorraine Johnson of Waltham, her cherished grandchildren Robin Gutierrez of Lexington, Amy Zolotow of Hawaii, Matthew Turcotte of Brookline, and Jackie Williams of Maine, and her great grandchildren Isabelle, Alex, Andres, Kylen, Noah, Ellie, and Theo. She is also survived by a multitude of wonderful nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Lois' life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
