Federico A. Guevara

Of Waltham, passed away early Thursday morning, April 12, 2018 at the Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton. He was 80.

Born and raised in Santa Ana, Ecuador to the late Lorenzo and Silvia (Salmon) Guevara, he moved to the United States in 1969 and has been a resident of Waltham since 1978.

Mr. Guevara was a hardworking man and worked as an Assembler at Raytheon for many years and at Costco in Waltham for the past 21 years.

Mr. Guevara was a dedicated family man, in his spare time Federico enjoyed reading, watching action films, collecting watches, but most of all loved spending time with his family and friends at social gatherings and traveling to his beloved country of Ecuador.

He is survived by his loving Wife Graciela (Cedeno) Guevara, his devoted children Pilar Isabel Perry and her husband Oliver, of Stoughton, and Monica Quintal of Atkinson, NH. His loving grandchildren, Mekkel Blanchard and his wife Beatriz of Holbrook, Sahrina Perry and Oliver Perry of Stoughton, Elizabeth Rodriguez of Tewksbury, Anthony Quintal, of Los Angeles, Giovanni and Julian Quintal of Atkinson, NH. He is also survived by his three great grandchildren Victoria, Charles, and Violet.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Federico's life at St. Mary's Church, 145 School St., at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be held Friday April 20, from 4- 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
