Obituary for Paolo Fulciniti

Silvestro "Paolo" Fulciniti

Of Arlington passed away, Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was 91.

Born and raised in Palermiti, Catanzaro, Italy to the late Pasquale and Maria Antonetta (Razionale) Fulciniti, he moved to Somerville in 1970 and has been a resident of Arlington for the past 30 years.

Paolo worked in construction for many years.

As a younger man, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered by his friends and family as a simple man who loved being with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Maria (Politano) Fulciniti, his devoted sons Pasquale Fulciniti and his wife Maria (DiPlacido) of Burlington, Vito Fulciniti and his wife Mary Jo (DeMeo) of Stow, Guido Fulciniti of Arlington, and Gianpaolo Fulciniti and his wife Kristin (O'Neill) of Burlington, and his cherished grandchildren Paul, Anthony, Nicholas, Rachel, Michael, James, Aleczander, and Tayah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Maria Fulciniti, Antonetta Valentino, and Josephine Pace.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend funeral services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Paolo's life at Saint Agnes Church, 51 Medford St., Arlington at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
