Obituary for John Arsen Terlemezian

John Arsen Terlemezian

Of Framingham, passed away peacefully, Sunday afternoon, February 4, 2018 in his home, surrounded by his family. He was 72.

Born in Boston to his loving parents Varna (David) Terlemezian and the late Arthur Hrach Terlemezian. John grew up in Belmont and was a 1963 graduate of Belmont High School. He attended Northeastern University and received his Bachelor's Degree in1968. Some time after graduating, John moved to Framingham, where he spent most of his adult life.

Mr. Terlemezian worked at IBM as a project manager for almost 50 years.

John loved cars, especially the classics, but his favorite was his maroon 1962 Corvette Roadster. He was very proud of his Armenian heritage and education was important to him,but most of all he loved his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather and heavily involved in the sports and other activities of all of his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his infectious smile, charm and wit.

In addition to his mother, Varna, John is survived by his loving wife Donna M. (Flynn) Donovan; his devoted children Lori Leimbach and her husband William of Douglasville, GA, David Terlemezian and his wife Carolann Jensen of Dover, NH, Jimmy Terlemezian of Attleboro, MA, Miranda Cohen and her husband Aria of Dover, MA, Rudy Terlemezian of Bardstown, KY, and Kari George and her husband Kurtis of Waltham, MA. John is also survived by his brother Paul Terlemezian and his wife Sherry Collins of Atlanta, GA, and sister Joan Drevins and her husband Alson of Belmont, MA; and his cherished grandchildren Stacey, Ryan, Zach, Alexis, Vivienne, Jackson, Jon Mason, Rylee, Olivia, and Jarred as well as his nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of John's life at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Friday evening at 7 p.m. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 4 - 7 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
