Obituary for Judith A Lynch (Patten)

Judith "Judy "(Patten) Lynch

A Lifelong Resident of Waltham, Passed away in the early morning hours of December 30th 2017. Surrounded by her Loving Family, Judy Bravely fought a brief, harrowing battle with Breast Cancer. She Passed in Hospice care at Marist Hill Rehabilitation center in Waltham, She was 72.

Born April 13th 1945 & Raised In Waltham, to the Late. John Patten & Mary (Murphy) Patten,

She Was Also Married to the late John “Billy”Lynch Sr.

To Judy, Family Was Life – Over the years she became like a surrogate to many of her children's friends & others, She affectionately became known as “Ma Lynch”

She had a way about her, a certain type of insight that could make most anyone, feel at ease. - you always knew, where you stood with Judy Lynch.

Her quick wit and [at times] Brutal Honesty had a way of making even the most uncomfortable of moments – Hysterical.

She placed Family & loyalty above all else, Making her a True friend to all who were fortunate enough to know Her.

Judy will be very deeply missed & Her Wisdom, promises to be passed down for generations to come.

She Is Survived By Her Devoted Children John Lynch Jr -of Waltham, Jeffrey Lynch -of Waltham, Justine Lynch- of Hudson, and her youngest son, long time Caregiver & Best Friend Michael Hutton of Waltham, Her sisters Diana Patten of Carver & Eileen (Patten) Oliver of Gloucester, as well as her cherished Grandchildren: Steven, Jake, Olivia, Serina & Thomas [Lynch] -Daeshawn & Daeman Bradshaw and Nick Keefe and the family's newest addition, Her 1st great-grandchild Layla, as well as many nieces & nephews.

She wished to be Cremated yet, She was adamant - she have a spring burial - [quote] “no-one need freeze their A**es off over me!” She Therefore will be laid to rest on Friday, April 13 2018 at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham – further Information will be forthcoming-
