Judith "Judy "(Patten) Lynch

A Lifelong Resident of Waltham, Passed away in the early morning hours of December 30th 2017. Surrounded by her Loving Family, Judy Bravely fought a brief, harrowing battle with Breast Cancer. She Passed in Hospice care at Marist Hill Rehabilitation center in Waltham, She was 72.

Born April 13th 1945 & Raised In Waltham, to the Late. John Patten & Mary (Murphy) Patten,

She Was Also Married to the late John “Billy”Lynch Sr.

To Judy, Family Was Life – Over the years she became like a surrogate to many of her children's friends & others, She affectionately became known as “Ma Lynch”

She had a way about her, a certain type of insight that could make most anyone, feel at ease. - you always knew, where you stood with Judy Lynch.

Her quick wit and [at times] Brutal Honesty had a way of making even the most uncomfortable of moments – Hysterical.
She placed Family & loyalty above all else, Making her a True friend to all who were fortunate enough to know Her.
Judy will be very deeply missed & Her Wisdom, promises to be passed down for generations to come.
She Is Survived By Her Devoted Children John Lynch Jr -of Waltham, Jeffrey Lynch -of Waltham, Justine Lynch- of Hudson, and her youngest son, long time Caregiver & Best Friend Michael Hutton of Waltham, Her sisters Diana Patten of Carver & Eileen (Patten) Oliver of Gloucester, as well as her cherished Grandchildren: Steven, Jake, Olivia, Serina & Thomas [Lynch] -Daeshawn & Daeman Bradshaw and Nick Keefe and the family's newest addition, Her 1st great-grandchild Layla.
as well as many nieces & nephews.

Judy Was a caring, private & practical woman it was in this fashion she asked her final wishes be honored & are as Follows:
There will be no [pre-burial] visiting or viewing hours .

She wished to be Cremated yet, She was adamant - she have a spring burial - [quote] “no-one need freeze their A**es off over me!” She Therefore will be laid to rest on Friday, April 13 2018 at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham – further Information will be forthcoming-

It Was With This In Mind – A Memorial Fund Has been set up for those who wish to find ways to honor her memory, Please click on the link for more information

Mrs Lynch's Children would Also like to thank the many friends who came to make her smile [& left...smiling no doubt] as Well as The Staff At the Newton Wellsley Hospital [cancer center] for the compassion & kindness their Mother & they were shown, during this difficult journey -
