Of Woburn, entered eternal rest & peace with his God on Thursday morning December 21st, 2017 in the Life Care Center of Stoneham at the age of 88.

Born on March 13, 1929 in Cayes, Haiti; son of the late Cyricac Maitre and Cecile Jean-Claude, Murice was raised in Haiti and had immigrated to the United States in the 1980's. He resided in Malden for many years before moving to Woburn 17 years ago.

Beloved husband of the late Rose Christine (Leger) Maitre.

Maurice is survived by his devoted & loving children Franck, Raoul, Ronald, Eddy, Rowls, Ginette, Myriame, Evans and Jean Robert and his cherished grandchildren Taina, Danysha, Kensey, Andrew, Gohanne, Ricardo and Isaac.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Maurice's Life at the United Methodist Church of Woburn, 523 Main Street, WOBURN on Saturday morning Dec. 30th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodbrook Cemetery in Woburn. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Friday evening Dec. 29th from 6 - 8 p.m.
