Carol Cormier

Of Waltham passed away on November 17, 2017 at her home. She was 68.

Raised in Watertown, she was a longtime Waltham resident. She is the daughter of the late Ernest “Ernie” Cormier and is survived by her mother Agnes Cormier, and her brother, Ernest “Ernie” J. Cormier Jr. and his wife Mia of Billerica, her sister Denise Stearns and her husband Tom of Waltham, and her niece Kimberly Eccles, nephew Jared Stearns, and Jennifer Cormier. She graduated from Northeastern University, and worked as an RN at Sancta Maria Hospital, Waltham Hospital, Mt. Auburn Hospital and MIT.

She loved swimming, biking, Cape Cod - especially Chatham where she vacationed every summer, she was a great cook who frequented the local farm stands, and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.

Carol was a benefactor of the Waltham Library, Waltham Boys and Girls Club and the Waltham Salvation Army. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., Waltham, Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be private. Parking attendants will be on duty.
