Obituary for Beverly A "Bev" Donahue

Beverly "Bev" Ann Donahue

Of Germantown, Maryland passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 67

Born in Waltham raised in Watertown to the late Joseph T. and Mildred (Blanchard) Donahue. She has been a resident of Maryland for over 45 years.

After graduating form Watertown High School in 1967 Bev's parents told her she needed to get a job, so she applied to the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Boston, and got the job. This started her long career in dancing as choreographer, coach, judge, and competitor. Her career brought her to Maryland, and allowed her to travel the world and to go places she never would have been able to otherwise.

She is survived by her loving sister Sandra "Sandy" Donahue of Plainville, her nephew Daniel Harlow and his wife Kelly of Plainville and her grand nieces Alexis and Katie. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and friends.

She was the beloved sister of the late Jay Donahue.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend A Memorial Mass in celebration of Bev's life at St. Luke's Church, 132 Lexington, St. Belmont, Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
