Of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon November 12th, 2017 in his home at the age of 58.

Born on December 2, 1958 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada; son of the late Rodrick and Dora (Collette) McDonald, Harvey came to the United States as a young boy in 1963. He was raised in Waltham attending Waltham Schools and graduating from the Waltham Vocational High School.

Harvey was a talented finish Carpenter throughout his life. He had a passion for playing sports especially hockey when he was younger.

Harvey is survived by his loving siblings Bernie McDonald of Waltham, Donald McDonald and Bernice Savoie both of Canada, Leo McDonald Arlington, Roger McDonald of Woburn and John-Paul McDonald of Waltham. In addition he is survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in celebration of Harvey's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Friday evening November 17th at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
