Dear Uncle Mike:

I'm glad I saw you in your most relaxed mode at Hampton Beach this past July. I didn't think it would be the last time though... You fooled me last Thanksgiving when I thought it might have been. In fact, you fooled us all last year and little did we know for the ensuing 13 months... I think you fooling and kidding around with people was your M/O.. what do you think? ;)

--Now memories will linger on, here are a few: You built a half-pipe ramp for me with your bare hands when I went through my skate-boarding phase! How many nephews can say that?!? (Especially you, you had over 15 nephews!) You helped me write lyrics to my first Sibelius project in Music Theory for the start of 10th grade, which was fun that summer on "the deck" at Hampton Beach - but if anyone knew you just a little bit, I could not use the lyrics you suggested, since, well, never mind... haha! You were always a great host and my hands were never empty around you; "A can of coke, Matthew?"--"sure!"... as I got older "Matthew, a beer?"--"why not?!"... "Have a twizzler..."--"I can't say no, Uncle Mike!"...

I won't be able to make it to your services, but I'll make sure to stop by though when I'm home for Thanksgiving. Love ya Uncle Mike!
