Of Waltham, formerly passed away peacefully July 24th, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Worcester following a brief illness.
Born on February 16, 1928 in Maxhutie, Germany; loving daughter of the late Vitus and Walli (Janker) Feiertag.
She was the beloved and devoted wife to the late Joseph Carrier. While he was serving in the United States Army stationed in Germany, the two met and later married.
After traveling for some years they came back to the United States and settled in Waltham, MA.
Elsa enjoyed many hobbies during her life; however bingo was her favorite game. She would travel to many different towns just to play. Sometimes Elsa would also enjoy stopping at her favorite place to eat the Chateau Restaurant in Waltham.
Dear sister of Walter Feiertag. Devoted & loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews. Elsa will be dearly missed.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Elsa’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St, WALTHAM on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at V.A. Mass National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:00 p.m. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the service on Friday from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
