Obituary for Peter Charles Collura

Of Florida formerly of Waltham died Thursday morning in Orlando, Florida.

Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, he graduated from Waltham High School, and after which he joined the United States Navy as a Pharmacists Mate in service to his Country.

He was a retired General Manager of the Klik Kloc Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia.

Peter was a avid golfer who enjoyed his fellowship with other golfers, he was a natural activist and organizer working especially on behalf on veterans causes for many years.

He enjoyed a large family with which he enjoyed spending time.

He was the son of the late John & Ann ( DiPietro ) Collura, the brother of the late Sally Generoso and the late Madeline Albanese. husband of the late Terese ( Bradley ) Collura and the late Bernadette ( Weir ) Collura and father of the late David B. Collura.

He is survived by his daughter Susan Muscarella of Fla., Annette Collura of San Jose, Cal, Beverly Harrington,and her husband Arthur of Medford, Peter F. Collura and his wife Rita
( Tortola ) & Michael J. Collura and his wife Karen ( Omobono ) both of Waltham, Paul A. Collura and his wife Carol ( Martin ) of WA., & the late David Bradley Collura, Brother of Mary Pavone and Josephine Costello both of Naples, Fla., Mrs Ann Burke of Waltham, Frank Collura of AZ., John Collura of Hadley, Ma., and Rose Scafidi of Hudson, Ma., in addition he leaves 9 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. from the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham with a Mass of Christian Burial at the Sacred Heart Church, Waltham at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting will be in the "Mary Catherine Chapel" of the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Monday from 4-8 p.m.

Flowers are appreciated or expressions of sympathy may be made in Pete's memory to the New England Center of Homeless Veterans, 17 Court Street, Boston, Ma. 02108 Parking attendants will be on duty.
