Obituary for Sandra Elaine Benotti (Juliano)

Sandra Elaine Benotti (Juliano)
After a long battle with Ovarian Cancer, our angel Sandra (Juliano) Benotti died peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home on April 29th, at the age of 66. She was born on July 11th, 1950 the daughter of the late Joseph Juliano and Lucy (Rambello) Juliano.

Sandy was born and raised in Waltham. In 1967 she took her first job as dietary aid at Waltham Hospital where she met her life-long best friend Marcia D’Agostino. On August 30th, 1975 she married the love of her life Robert Benotti Sr and they started their family. Sandy was a loving mother devoted to her children. When they were older she took a job working in the cafeteria in the Waltham School System so she could be home in the afternoon when they returned from school. She worked there for 29 years until her retirement in July 2016. Through the years she made several lasting friendships at work that she cherished dearly. In her spare time she enjoyed needle point, knitting, BINGO, drinking tea, summer vacations in New Hampshire and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert E Benotti Sr. of Waltham; two devoted children, Robert Benotti Jr and his significant other Laura Cormier of Waltham and Stacey Roberts and her husband Russel of Dedham; four cherished grandchildren, Abbey Benotti, Brooke Benotti, Adam Roberts and Zoe Roberts; her dear brother Carmine Juliano and his wife Margret of South Carolina; nieces, Alanna Juliano, Melissa Juliano, Janella (Juliano) McKenna, Kimberly Benotti, Melissa (Benotti) Iodice, Elizabeth Benotti and Jacqueline Benotti, and Jessica Benotti, nephew Joseph Juliano; best friends Marcia D’Agostino, Doreen LeBlanc and Rita Aucoin as well as several others all of whom will miss her dearly.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Sandra's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Friday morning May 5th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery in Weston. Visiting Hours will be held in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday May 4th from 4 - 8 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.
