Obituary for Shirley Ann Vanderford (Bianchi)

Shirley Ann ( Bianchi ) Vanderford 81,

Of Waltham passed away peacefully on Monday April 17th at her home after a long illness.

She has been a Waltham resident most of her life. Shirley had been employed for many years as a Nurses Aid until her retirement.

Born in Newton, Massachusetts February 29th 1936 to Guido and Elizabeth ( MacDougall ) Bianchi, she was the Sister of the late Guy Bianchi, the late Florence Davis, John Bianchi and Nancy Carroll.
She was the mother of the late Thomas Vanderford and the late Gary Vanderford.

She is survived by her Daughters, Sherry Vanderford- Williams and her husband Rex, and Sheila Vanderford both of Georgia, and her devoted and loving companion of 35 years William Champagne of Waltham, her sister Donna Willis of Sagamore Beach. Shirley is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and Many Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service in Celebration of Shirley's Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of the Brasco and Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, Waltham on Sunday May 7th 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Visiting hours from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.. Interment will be with Shirley's Sons Thomas and Gary Vanderford.
