Of Marlborough formerly of Waltham, passed away on Monday evening March 27th, 2017 in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a fall. She was 66.

Born on November 29, 1950 in Waltham; daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary (Scandale) Passerello, Janice was raised and lived most of her life in Waltham.

A graduate of Waltham High School, Jan was employed as a Unit Coordinator at the former Waltham Hospital for over 30 years.

Jan’s life always revolved around her family especially in these past few years with the arrival of her three grandchildren. She loved those very special moments spent with her family especially the grandchildren. Jan loved to bake and also enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years for whom she married on April 3, 1970 George DeLosa, her loving & devoted sons Waltham Firefighter Gary DeLosa and his wife Darcy of Hudson and Eric DeLosa and his wife Victoria of Framingham, her cherished granddaughters Lia, and twins Aria & Braelyn. In addition she is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.

Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Jan’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday morning April 1st at 10:00 a.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel on Friday March 31st from 4 – 8 p.m.
