Condolence From: Diane Ogden Sheehan
Condolence: Dear Family of Jack Loynd.
I heard a little while back of the passing of your dad. I am truly very worry.
I was a student at Mass. Bay Community College from 1982 to 1984. Jack was our substitute teacher from time to time (and such a relief from our regular mean teacher, Ann Farey); and of course he had his extremely helpful classes at his home in Waltham which I almost always attended.
I just want to say how much I liked and admired your dad. He was a pillar to me and all my classmates. Only good could be said about him. He was funny, inspiring, kind and never gave up on any of us. I did become a Court Reporter and practiced for several years.
It's funny, you know a man for three years and never realized he was in U.S. Army and Airforce fighting during World War II. My father was in the army and was at Pearl Harbor on infamous 12/7.
Again, very sorry for your loss. All I can say is I wish he was still here. He was a wonderful man.

Condolence: To the Loynd family.
Having spent so many Saturdays and weeknights in your home practicing with Jack to become a better court reporter, so many in our field got to know a wonderful, unforgettable person.
So sorry for your loss. A mentor, a hero,
and a friend. Just an amazingly loving man.
Lucky to have known him.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to you Peg, Dana, and the entire Loynd family. Your dad, Peg, was special in so many ways. He was a genuine gentleman, first and foremost. He was kind, sweet, so darn cute, and always had a twinkle in those blue eyes. Most importantly, he made me feel like family whenever I was in his company. There is now another hole in my heart. I cannot imagine what you are all feeling. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Elaine & Dan Haran
